System SKU: sp101
System Category:
Civil Engineering
DESCRIPTION:
Jeffco 101 is a “sand” colored, highly flexible epoxy adhesive and sealant for use with similar and dissimilar materials. Jeffco 101 may be applied on overhead and vertical surfaces up to ¼” thick, nominally, without running or sagging. Excellent chemical resistance and 150% elongation makes
Jeffco 101 a perfect solution for hundreds of applications. The convenient color-coded (“A” dark brown and “B” white) 1:1 volumetric mix ratio is user friendly. Jeffco 101 is a 100% solids formulation containing no solvents, low toxicity and low cure odor.
APPLICATIONS:
Use Jeffco 101 to bond or seal similar or dissimilar materials such as concrete, metals, wood, glass, ceramic, and many plastics.
Jeffco 101 also finds use as a flexible joint filler and general purpose caulking compound for civil engineering applications.
SUGGESTIONS FOR USE:
Jeffco 101 bonds well with minimal surface preparation and in the presence or moisture but it is recommended to remove contaminates such as standing water, rust, and dirt. Substrate sanding or scuffing will enhance bond capabilities.
Use Jeffco 101 between 45°F and 100°F. Thoroughly mix part “A” (dark brown) and part “B” (white) until a consistent “sand” color is achieved. Apply the mixed Jeffco 101 by trowel or putty knife to the desired thickness. Clamp or apply pressure if possible when using
Jeffco 101 as a glue. Surfaces are tack free with good “green” strength development in 3.0 hours. Jeffco 101 bond strength will fully develop within 48 hours at ambient temperatures. |
