System SKU: 5000
System Category:
Civil Engineering
DESCRIPTION:
100% solids two part epoxy system for bonding and filling concrete and other substrate. Jeffco 5000 offers good adhesion, quick cure, good chemical resistance and low odor during application. Jeffco 5000 is syntactic, lightweight mastic with excellent thixotropy, Troweling easily on vertical and overhead surfaces. Easy to use 2:1 volume mixing and color-coding ensures a proper mix every time.
APPLICATIONS:
- Capping for concrete crack injection
- Concrete repairs
- Bonding of similar to dissimilar substrates
SUGGESTIONS FOR USE:
Thoroughly mix parts “A” and “B” until a consistent gray color is achieved. If applying to damp corroded concrete, first apply Jeffco 1501 primer (see 1501 data sheet for more information). Apply mixed material by trowel or putty knife to desired thickness. Allow approximately 8 hours at 77°F to allow “green” strength to develop. Full properties develop in 7 days at typical ambient temperatures.
Jeffco 5000 also finds use as general-purpose adhesive for bonding many types of similar and dissimilar substrates.
