Civil Engineering
DESCRIPTION:
100% solids two part epoxy system for bonding and filling concrete and other substrate. Jeffco 9000 offers long work life, quick cure, good chemical resistance and low odor during application. Jeffco 9000 is a syntactic, light weight mastic with excellent thixotropy, trowelling easily on vertical and overhead surfaces. Easy to use 2:1 volume mixing and color coding ensure a proper mix every time. DOT and IATA non-corrosive for ease of transportation.
APPLICATIONS:
Jeffco 9000 is intended primarily as an adhesive for bonding similar and dissimilar substrates. Due to its moisture tolerance and chemical resistance, this system finds wide application in concrete repair. When used in conjunction with Jeffco 1501 primer, the material tolerates hydrostatic pressure(s) typically found in concrete sewer and wastewater applications.
SUGGESTIONS FOR USE:
Thoroughly mix parts “A” and “B” until a consistent gray color is achieved. If applying to damp, corroded concrete, first apply Jeffco 1501 primer (see 1501 data sheet for more information). Apply mixed material by trowel or putty knife to desired thickness. Allow approximately 8 hours at 77°F to allow “green” strength to develop. Full properties develop in 7 days at typical ambient temperatures.
ADVANTAGES OF JEFFCO:
- Easy to use 2:1 mix ratio
- 60-90 minutes of working life (time varies according to temperature and batch size)
- Use at temperatures above 45°F (7°C) and less than 100°F (38°C)
- Typically cures in 6-8 hours at 77°F (25°C)
- Gray mixed color |
