1:1 CLEAR GEL HARDENER

Hardener page
Product Description:
Thixotropic, gel version of 3122-D hardener. Medium pot life and good clarity for vertically applied epoxy coatings. Highly resistant to amine blush. Easy to use 1:1 volumetric mix ratio. No VOC’s, 100% solids. Low odor during cure.
Product Uses:
Clear vertically applied coatings, quartz or aggregate broadcasts onto vertical surfaces. Used where a high build on vertical walls is desired. Generally used with either Jeffco 1301, 1303 or 9211.5 epoxy resins.
TIPS:
Resin and hardener should be between 70° F and 80° F for best results. Mix equal parts (by volume) of the resin and hardener slowly and carefully for 2-3 minutes, trying not to "whip" in excessive air. Once the material is mixed, it is typically applied by roller to the wall and allowed to cure. Once rolled, it may also be broadcast with quartz or other suitable media. The convenient gel consistency finds use in many other applications where a thixotropic, high build system is desired. |
